General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

A coarsened echotexture suggests damage to liver and progression towards a chronic liver disease. At this point I will strongly suggest to quit alcohol completely, otherwise the liver will get permanently damaged. Recovery is still possible at this point of time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
