What Does This Test Result Of Brain From MRI Indicate?
Hi Dr . I had an mri of the brain and result states mild scattered patchy areas of white matterT2/flair signal hyperintensitiesin the cerebral hemissphere, my neurologist said that my mri is suggestive of Ms , I m 61 years old w/ progressive problems of extremeties weakness , pain , spasm which is getting worst , 5 years ago I was dx w/ fibromyalgia , but now my Mri could be that I have ms ? Can you please help me understand my mri result ? Thank you very much !

I really appreciate your concern, here the MRI is not that much important than the clinical symptoms as long as the MS is concern clinical finding is the key for diagnosis, here this may not be MS, hope this information helps, take care.
