Hello and welcome to HCM,
The thyroid scan shows presence of multiple nodules and cysts in both lobes of thyroid.
Nodules and cysts in thyroid lobes are suggestive of multinodular goitre which is a benign condition.
However, possibility of neoplasm has to be ruled out.
The next step is to get an aspiration cytology of the multiple nodules and cysts in thyroid.
If the nodules are clinically evident, aspiration can be done on those nodules.
However, if the nodules and cysts cannot be palpated. guided aspiration is required.
In addition, the nature of these nodules has to be assessed whether they are cold or hot.
Cold and hot terms denote the activity of the nodules.
Cold nodules have greater possibility of being malignant, however, this is not true in 100% cases.
The thyroid function tests also need to be done- TSH, T3 and T4 levels.
In benign cases, these hormones are within normal limits.
Thus, consult your referring doctor for further management.

Thanks and take care
