What Does This Semen Analysis Report Specify?

Hi I am Mohammed i m married for a year and I haven t able to make my wife pregnant . I did semen analysis which came out with below results Total sperm count 78 million Liquification Time : 30 Min Semen Volume : 1.5 ml Actively Motile: 5% Sluggishly Motile : 10% Non Motile : 85% Abnormal Forms : 7% Need help and want to understand what this means .

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

I have gone through your report....

Here seem count normal.
But abnormality is non motile sperm high.
It should be less then 5 %...
But here it is 85%...

Actively motile sperm normally should be >50% but here it is only 5%....

So your reproduction will defective...because only actively motile sperm can penetrate ova....

Search for causes of low motility.....
-smoking and alcohol
-genetic like immotile cilia syndrome
-chronic infection
-vitamin and mineral deficiency
-excess stress
-idiopathic
-sperm antibody

Treat according to cause if possible.

Assisted reproductive techniques might needed for you....
