General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following conclusions can be inferred based on the semen analysis report you have enclosed.
1. Volume of 1.5ml is within normal range.
2. Colour which is creamy is also normal.
3. Viscosity thin should be also fine, but should be little thick.
4. Sperm morphology with 60% normal should be fine.
5. Sperm motility with 60% active should be also fine.
Pus cells of 10 to 12/HPF is indicating presence of infection.
6. Total Sperm count of 110 million/ml is within normal range.
Hence the report can be considered as normal except for the presence of infection. You need to take an appropriate course of antibiotics to overcome the same.
Following the completion of the course of medication, kindly get a repeat semen analysis done after 3 weeks to look for the improvement.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
