What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
i m kausar, I did my semen analysis. Its say that volume-2.5 ml, color whitish, reaction-alkaline, Odour-Fishy, Viscosity-Viscous,Count-80 mill/ml ,Active motile-70%,weakly motile-20%, non motile 10%,Pus cell-4-6%,Epithelial cell 2-3%,rbc -nil/HPF, Comments-Normozospermia. please advice me.

Understand your concern
First compare your semen report with normal semen analysis
Ejaculate volume: 2 to 6 mL ____________2.5____Normal
Color: grayish white _______________________normal
Appereance: viscous to jelly type_________normal
Ph:7.1-8.0 alkaline________normal
Sperm count:20-300 million/ml________80 million per ml__normal
Active motile sperm : 50% motile at one hour after ejaculation__70__normal
Your normal sperm morphology is higher than 30 % suggest normal sperm morphology
Epithelial cell: 2-3_______normal.
Pus cell up to 5______________normal
Normospermia means normal sperm count.
Sperm odor will depend on the your sweats smell and body composition. That is various from person to person.
Fishy smell also due to infection. Should be rule out by Semen culture.
Pus cell may be due to UTI and proststitis. so if you have any symptoms of UTI and prostate infection should be rule out by urine routine, microscopic and culture and Blood PSA LEVEL.
Otherwise your sperm morphology and motility is complete normal.
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene before and after sex.
