What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

hello sir I am 37 and got married 11months before and still unable to get a baby after spending six month I made semen analysis test and found the result as follows: Quantity: 1.5 ml total count: 45 mill/ml live count: 30 mill/ml sperm per ejaculate: 67.5 mil percentage motile sperm: 67 percentage Rapid linear progression: 20 percentage slow/non Lin progression 60percentage non progressive: 20 per. normal form: 30per. large oval 15 per. tapering : 25 per. pin: 10 per. Mid piece abnormalities : 20 per. WBC s : 1 after getting this report I consult with doctor and she prescribed me Clomid 50 two times for 25 days and tribulus terrestrial ext. 500mg. two times after spending two month I again made test the and found the result as follows: Quantity: 3.0 ml Total count: 57.5 mill/ml live count: 37.5 mill/ml sperm per ejaculate: 172.5 mil percentage motile sperm : 65 per. rapid linear progression: 20per. slow/non Lin progression : 50 per. non progressive: 30 per Normal form: 40 per tapering: 20 per. amorphous: 15per. PIN : 10 per. MID piece abnormalities 15per. WBC s : 1 please suggest better treatment as I will be able to get bbaby I hope you will understand my problem and give me positive response and also plz tell me am I able to get baby in view of above report an early response will be appreciated, Thanks.

Thanks for posting to HCM.
I understand your concern.
After going through the semen analysis report you have posted, it clearly indicates that there is improvement in many aspects after treatment.
The following things could be concluded:
1. Quantity has improved from 1.5ml before to 3.0ml after treatment.
2. Total count has improved from 45 million/ml to 57.5 million per ml.
3. Motile sperms has more or less remains the same with 67% before to 65% after. But it is fairly good % and so not to worry about.
4. Sperm morphology has improved from 30% normal forms to 40%, which is also a good thing.
5. There is no evidence suggestive of infection in both the reports.
Hence, it can be put forth that there is improvement showing increased chances of fertility after treatment. Hence it can be continued which would improve the chances of fertilization.
