What Does This Semen Analysis Report Diagnose?

Hi, I am 32 year old Male. my semen reports shows following results.

volume: 6.5ml

liquification time: 30 mins

Color: Dirty White

ph: 8

sperm Count: 28 million

active motile: 10%

sluggish Motile: 30%

non motile:60%

pus cells 04 - 05/hpf

RBC: nil

Normal Morphology: 50%



Can you please suggest findings here.

Hi,

There is pus cells in semen which could be due to underlying infection of prostate gland which could be of short term or long term. Active motility of the sperm is significantly reduced it could be due to infection. I would recommend you to undergo semen culture .You may need a course of antibiotics and other supplements to increase the sperm count as well as motility.
