What Does This Result Of 2D Echocardiogram Indicate?

My father age 71 has done 2D echo and the report says Hypokinesia of the mid and apical anterior wall with good preserved myocardium. Mild hypokinesia of the basal poseterior and inferior wall.( Mostly looks like a Multivessel disease). Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction is 50-52% He has been advised angiography and doctor has told mostly a case of BYPASS surgery. Please advise should I go for all this or is there any other way to avoid angio and bypass

Hi welcome to HCM.
Bypass surgery is strongly recommended in almost every case of multivessel disease. The operative risk even though slightly higher for his age,the good ejection fraction of 55% is a favourable sign.Coronary Angiogram is the basic tool to recognize the circulatory blocks and extent, severity of disease pattern. You cannot decide without angiogram. Its a prerequisite for CABG.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you.
