What Does This Result From X-ray Report For Lung Indicate?

I continue to develop lung infections and recently pneumonia, five months. As soon as I get off meds, I get sick again. I have asthma. Today the latest x Ray showed no pneumonia but my right lung is hyper inflated and darker.. What is that? Understand the hyper inflated but darker? Why can t I get better?

Hello,

Hyperinflation can be a sign of emphysema or long term smoking history. You can go for a CT thorax may be to get a better clinical picture.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
