Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! Iam 47year old, single with irregular menstrual cycle, and had a ultrasound scan with a results: 1. Small sized anteverted uterus with thin endomeyrium (1.6mm) 2. Non- visualization of both ovaries, likely atrophic 3. Negative sonogram of cervix Please me help me, what does this mean?
Hello, This is a normal ultrasound. The anteverted uterus must means it is tilted forward and this can be normal. A thin endometrium is good we worry about problems when it is thick. It is typical for the ovaries of women over 40 to not be visualized especially if they are postmenopausal. The cervix is normal also. A very excellent report Regards
