What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Report Indicate?

I had a pelvic ultrasound 2 days ago and it found a 4.1X2.8X1.7 cm faintly lobular, uncircumscribed, inhomogeneous, solid mass with no hypervascularity. Margins are, in part, indistinct. The impression reads indeterminate solid mass, possible abnormal lymph node or intrinsic muscle series neoplasm. My WBC was 4.4. please tell me what all this means in laymen s terms

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for contacting health care magic....

You have approx 4 cm mass in your abdomen that is seen in USG .....

It can be benign or malignant mass....
We have to determine wether it is benign or malignant and what is its origin....
Benign tumour prognosis good .
In malignancy prognosis bad.

Here it seems to be one of the soft tissue tumour....
For that CT scan might done.

For rule out malignancy and classification of it USG guided biopsy taken ...
Histopathological examination done.
It might be benign mass also .so don't worry...

According to report treatment guided....

Consult surgeon for this.

Take care.
