What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Report Indicate?
A pelvic ultrasound has found a 11mm cyst/ follicle on my left ovary which is described as minimally complex, with a 1-2mm echogenis focus at its margin also a thin septation. Given my history of right ovarian cyst adenoma what treatment would be advised, do I have reason to be concerned?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The presence of a 11 mm cyst/ follicle in left ovary with a previous history of ovarian cystadenoma requires a follow up of the cyst/ follicle in left ovary.
The size of the current cyst is small thus it does not require any treatment at the moment.
However, any symptom like abnormality in menstruation, pelvic pain, abdominal distention etc should be reported to your gynecologist.
A regular follow up despite no symptom is also advised.
