Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good evening, A pelvic ultrasound revealed a well circumscribed thin-walled cystic mass in the pelvis messuring 7.3 x 13 x 11.5cm with no discernible echoes within. no adnexal mass seen and no free fluid noted in the pouch of douglas. What does this mean?
Presence of a thin walled cystic mass in pelvis can be most probably arising from ovaries. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and thus management.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
