What Does This Pelvic Scan Report Indicate?

I went for a pelvic scan and my result said:a normal sized non-gravid anteverted uterus measuring 40mm in ap diameter.the uterine outline is regular with homogeneous myometrial echo texture. In the anterior wall of AP the diameter 19mm suggestive or intramural fibromyoma. The endometrial plate is of normal thickness. The ovaries are normal sonologically with bilaterally free adnexea. There is nil fluid collection in the pouch of Douglas.IMPRESSION: Acyesis Uterine fibromyoma

1. Fibromyoma is a very common benign tumor.
2. In your case it is very small sized.
3. Medical (non surgical) management will suffice if your periods are normal.
