What Does This Myelography Report Indicate?

I just had a lumbar myelogram. It shows at L5-S1 a bilateral pars defect of L5 with anterior spondylolisthesis measuring 6 mm. There is disc degeneration with a vacuum phenomenon and unroofing of the disc combined with spurring at the pars defects. This results in moderate bilateral foraminal encroachment...What does this all mean?

As per my clinical experience, the lumbar myelogram report is indicative of age related changes with disc degeneration and secondary sequences of the same causing nerve compression. The clinical significance of the same varies with the impact over individual with underlying co-morbid conditions as:
- Obesity
- Type of work involved
- Physical activity status
- Calcium homeostasis
- Bone mineral density
