What Does This Lab Report Indicate?

What does No osseous destructive changes. Degenerative changes in the spine. Focus of increased density, of T1, image 3, is slightly larger than previously noted. Metastatic disease not excluded. mean? First it sounds good, then it sounds bad. Thank you .

Hi,

The first part says that the spine has age-related degeneration. But there are some masses which are denser and so the doubt of malignancy is not ruled out. If there is no focus elsewhere in the body, then it must be investigated properly as by biopsy.
