What Does This Lab Report Indicate?

Renal cell carcinoma in the right kidney. The lesion is seen in the upper pole. This lesion is hypodense and hypo-enhancing. It appears to be necrotic/cystic centrally and is seen to measure 61x54x59mm in transverse dimensions??? What does all of this mean?

Hi.
Thank you for your question.

Let me assure you first of all that you are fine and need not to panic.

As per the report of Ultrasonography Abdomen, you are having a tumor in upper part of right kidney.
I will advice you to get a Contrast enhanced CT scan of whole abdomen done immediately as to confirm the diagnosis and also know the extent of the disease so that further treatment can be started accordingly and without delay.

Hope i answered your questions.

Wish you a healthy life.

Regards,
Dr.Arun Prasad.
