What Does This Lab Report For Obstructive Jaundice Indicate?
Dear doctor; My father problem is Obstructive jaundice. CT scan , MRCP and MRI Pancreas was normal. But sonar US there is marked thickening of distal CBD wall seen surrounding distal tip of stent, assuming a shape of mass in the vicinity of pancreatic head, measures 22* 21 mm. Periampullary tumor ? or not; Or pancreatic infection. We can approach this place to biopsy. To know, my father have diabetic type 2 more than 15 years. Hey, during reviewing your query, I have seen that there is much discrepancy in your ultrasound and CT scan report. Now I would like to know the difference in time duration between both investigations. if ultrasound is showing mass. why is it not visible on CT scan or MRI.
