What Does This Chest CT Scan Test Result Indicate?

What does hazziness in the right upper lung due to ptb means? Is that an active or latent tuberculosis? I m already done with my 6 months medication and was healed, but few months later I took a medical exam and the result was hazziness in the right upper lung. How did that happen?

Hello,

Any report has to be evaluated with the current symptoms and signs of the patient. When both are present, there is a history of six months AKT intake, so I suggest these changes seen on CT are due to residual fibrosis post-Koch's recovery, it does not indicate active tuberculosis (TB).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
