What Does This Chest CT Scan Report Indicate?

I have been diagnosed with linear atlectasis or scarring of the linqula and mild bronchial wall thickening, along with widespread air trapping of the right lung. This was discovered recently through a chest ct, and my cardiologist is having referred to a pulmonary specialist.

Hi welcome to Healthcare Magic. Linear atelectasis means complete or partial collapse of the lung or lobe of lung that develops when the air sacs in the lungs are deflated. Air trapping means there is retention of excess air in the lungs that is difficult to expire out. I would suggest you to consult pulmonary specialist. Take care.
