What Does This Blood Report Indicate?

Hi there i hv recently done my blood test. Which shows creatinine 115umol/l and egfr 78ml/min/1.73m2. I am 22 years old guy& eating protein diet chivken & creatine as well.one day before test i hvnt ate any of these diet & no luch n breakfast on the test day. Any suggestion of lowering my creatinine levels in blood.thanks Navpreet

Hi,

Serum Creatinine 115umol/l -Male 53–106 μmol/L-normal range. eGFR 78ml/min/1.73m2 (“Normal” GFR is usually >90 ml/min/1.73m2).

Hence you have mild renal insufficiency. You need to stop Creatine supplement and to take plenty of oral fluids. Serum Creatinine will gradually return to normal.
