What Does This Blood Report Indicate?

Hi. Father has cellulitis but also looks like bladder infection. WBC = 15, lymphocytes 6.2, neutrophils 91.6, platelets 128. Urine also shows glucose, blood, protein, mucus, bacteria, WBC and RBCs. Any thoughts? Are these related? Recent blood work (3mos previous) looked good. Thanks

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

As the urine has bacteria it could mean he is having a urinary tract infection and will need antibiotics to clear up the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
