Hello,

It seems that your ultrasound scan showed a mild enlargement of your liver, also known as hepatomegaly, with evidence of fatty infiltration of the liver (grade 1 fatty liver).

This condition is common and can result from various causes such as being overweight, having high cholesterol or triglyceride levels, having diabetes, or consuming too much alcohol. However, you mentioned that you do not drink or smoke and have a regular diet, which is a good thing.

Mild hepatomegaly with grade 1 fatty liver typically doesn't cause any symptoms, but if you are experiencing abdominal pain, it may be worth discussing with your doctor to rule out any other underlying conditions.

Your doctor may recommend lifestyle changes such as losing weight, eating a healthy diet, and increasing physical activity to improve your liver health. In addition, your doctor may recommend a further evaluation to determine the underlying cause of your liver condition and any necessary treatment. I hope this information helps! It's important to follow up with your doctor for further guidance and management of your liver health.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
