What Does This PET Scan Report Indicate?

On a PET scan I had, involving marrow, it says heterogeneous marrow activity involving the femurs, distal humeri and forearms appears slightly improved. Diffuse bony sclerosis seen on the CT transmission images remain stable. What does all this mean?

The possibility of a bone metastasis has to be considered. Consult an oncologist and he will direct you accordingly.
