What Does This MRI Test Result For Numbness In Toe And Feet Indicate?

tingling and some numbness in both feet around toe area. History of gout. Existing prescription of 300mg allopurinol once per day. Toe area s appear to have redness. More noticeable in recent week. Also, scheduling for back surgery in next several month. History of back problems, L3,4,5 fused in 1997. Recent MRI shows arthritis build around nerve area. Driving tends to aggravate syatic causing pain down one leg or the other with numbness in feet area. Not sure if the syatic could be causing toe numbness.

Hello,

Nerve compressions can cause numb feeling but you should also evaluate yourself for diabetes. Kindly get a CBC, RBS, HbA1c and KFT done and consult with reports.
