General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your MRI report gives the impression of nerve compression or impingement from lumbar disc herniation which is seen from 2nd lumbar to 1st sacral spine. There is Spondylolisthesis in l4 l5 also but mild at grade 1. These all can be due to previous trauma or any inflammatory process previously you had. So a detailed history and your present clinical picture is necessary to correlate the report. If you have severe symptoms of sciatica then a surgical correction can be considered. But if clinically you have milder symptoms then muscle relaxants , NSAIDs, muscle strengthening exercises and neurotropic drugs will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
