What Does This MRI Report Signify?

MRI (recent) showed multilevel degenerative changes. Disc protrusions T8-9, 9-10 & 5-6 allcausing effacement of calsac that surrounds cord. Endplate spondylosis multilevel . And disc desiccation at multilevel. Severe pain . Please explain need to understand this. Thank You.

hi,

your report indicates that there is multiple level of disc lesions. now based on the symptoms you describe we can come upto some conclusion. usually 90% of the scan will come with some abnormal positioning of the spine and discs. and spondylosis is a ageing related issues. where it happens to almost 90% of the population. Regular back strengthening exercises will be of help and avoid any pain and aches.
