Is any of this serious CT ABD/PEL W/O CONTR - Details       Printer friendly page--New window will open About This Test Details Study Result Narrative EXAM: CT scan abdomen pelvis with oral contrast HISTORY: Abdominal cramping COMPARISON: CT scan abdomen pelvis 07/12/2016 FINDINGS: Helically acquired axial images obtained through the abdomen pelvis following oral contrast only utilizing 5-mm collimation. Sagittal and coronal reconstructions were imaged and reviewed.. There is minimal dependent atelectasis at both lung bases. Stable simple cysts are seen within the liver and right kidney. The gallbladder is fluid filled without cholelithiasis. There is a small hiatal hernia. Atherosclerotic changes are seen involving the aorta. The pancreas adrenal glands have normal unenhanced CT appearance.. There is extensive colonic wall thickening with surrounding inflammatory changes with fluid involving the descending and sigmoid colon. Mild thickening is seen involving the mid and distal transverse colon. There is trace amount free fluid in the dependent pelvis. Hysterectomy. IMPRESSION: Findings compatible with acute colitis as described. ASVD without aneurysm. Simple hepatic and renal cysts. Prior hysterectomy. Umbilical hernia containing only fat.
