What Does This CBP Report Indicate?

Iam suffering with fever since 4 days continuously. Fever controlled few hours and raising upto 103 degrees. Physian suggested me to treatment 1gram monocef with NS iv. Is it enough tome. Cbp reports Hemoglobin 9.7 Erythrocytes 3.65 cu.mm Pcv 28.4 percent platelet count 1.70.000 cu.mm. Widal Negative Malaria Negative Dengue Ns1 Negative lgG Negative lgM Negative

Hi,

I would like to know few more details- any other symptoms like cough / headache / vomiting / abdominal pain / loose stools / dysuria? Also, in blood report, WBC count is missing. If it is just fever only and no other symptoms, I would have ordered a urine microscopy also. If everything is normal, we can wait up to 5 days with paracetamol alone.

If not getting down by then, we will need more tests like blood culture and a repeat widal test (Widal test is difficult to interpret when done before 5th day of fever) and a peripheral smear before starting empirical antibiotic like monocef. Kindly discuss with your doctor.
