I had a pelvic transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound recently. The impressions are as follows, but I don t know what it all means and if it is of concern. Help!!! • Enlarged, globular uterus demonstrating heterogeneous myometrium, myometrial cysts, poorly defined, 12 mm thick endometrial-myometrial interface and linear endometrial to myometrial hyperechoic striations consistent with the working diagnosis of adenomyosis. • No findings of endometrial mass, endometriomas or other signifcant pelvic sonographic abnormaility seen.
