What Does The Report Showing: " No Growth After 48 Hrs Of Incubation" Indicate?

Dear sir/madam,
My wife 5 months pregnant..Gram stain : Occasional pus cells and many gram positive bacilli seen.
Culture report : No growth after 48 hrs of incubation.Please explain the report.still my wife having any issues ?
doctor adviced to take Mebex 400 MG for 3 day's..Pls advice.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Your wife should NOT take Mebex if she is pregnant. Mebex might be harmful for the unborn child. Please change your doctor. No growth after 48 hours of incubation means no particular bacteria was isolated in culture.
