What Does The Lung X Ray Report Suggest?

My friend had a new X-ray for lungs then she was told she has a 11 mm spot and an opaque thing above that they can t tell what it is they want her to have a pet scan. What does the opaque part mean and does this this mean lung cancer. YYYY@YYYY

There are many reasons for lung opacities and they differ in position size and according to the disease process. Without having a look at the x-ray its difficult to conclude what it actually is. Go for a PET SCAN to get it diagnosed.
