What Does The Growth Rate In Terms Of Height For 16 Year Old Boy Suggest?

Hi I am a 16 year old male who is 5 ft 4 and recently went to the endocrinologist who took a bone X-ray of my wrist and said my hand was fused but my plate in wrist was still open and my bone age is 16 1/2 17 years old. Will growth hormone help me? Does this mean I am still growing? My brother is over 6ft and grew inches into his 20s. My mom is 5ft 2 and my father is 5 11

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Still you grow up to 2 more years.
Your growth depends on mid parental height i.e.,mothers height in cms+ father's height in cms divided by 2 + 6.5 cms.
Accordingly you may reach up to 6 ft.
If your grand parents are tall you may grow taller than your parents.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
