What Does The Following Ultrasound Results Indicate?

Hi.. I am 25 yrs old and carrying with 13.3weeks. Ultrasound results shows Posterior low lying placenta reaching internal os.. I am feeling back pain nd pain on stomach walls often. My docter suggested me to have rest nd keep pillow for legs while lying. Also I would have to sit day long as part of ma work. Can you please advice how risky it is considering all thse? What all precautions I should take?

I really appreciate your concern, this is very common condition and position seen in first trimester (Low laying of placenta ) and this is nothing to worry because as the gestational period going ahead placenta would go up, still you should be careful about it and need to be in follow up regularly for imaging study, hope this information helps, most of the time this would be fine, take care.
