Suggest Treatment For Cysts In The Liver Causing Abdominal Pain And Swelling

Should I be concerned with ultrasound report reflecting liver 16 cm demonstrating multiple cysts, largest left lobe 3.9 cm, no solid mass. I have abdominal pain, swelling, fatigue, and bad pain when I try to tie shoe laces. Also have fatty liver without mass. Finally I also have complex upper pole 1.4 cm with thin septation. Thank you.

hai,

as multiple cyst liver disease or solitary nonparasitic cysts of the liver is indicated only in symptomatic patients. Asymptomatic patients do not require therapy, because the risk of developing complications related to the lesion is lower than the risk associated with treatment.
since you got the symptoms ,should be evaluated properly.
you need gastroenterologist opinion as well as CT scan abdomen to proceed further.

Dr.S.Sentilnathan
