What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Indicate?

I recently had a ultrasound and they found a septated cyst on my left ovary, it is 2.5cm x 2.1 cm x 2.0 cm, I am 53 years old and am concerned this could be cancerous. I am scheduled for a hysterectomy next year, I am unable to have it done now because of my work. They found abnormal cervical cells when doing a biopsy and a d & c.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.There are two types of cysts seen in the ovaries, simple cyst generally with no septa, but in your case its seen with septa gradually turns to wards malignancies.
2.More towards malignancy features, which needs monitoring and look for any intra peritoneal extensions and lymph nodal pathologies.
3.According to me you should accelerate the process and get operated as soon as possible.
4.As the more you wait more of malignant features and extensions. Even before the operation i would suggest to get a keen evaluation with MRI for extensions and liver and lymph nodal status.
5.Since the histopathology came as abnormal cells - recommend you to get it done as soon as possible.

Good luck.
