What Does The Following Transvaginal Ultrasound Indicate?

Hi
I have completed 6 weeks of pregnancy and got a TVS for early pregnancy done. Below are some key points which are a point of worry according to my doctor-
- A small 1.8x1.1x0.6 cms sub-chorionic bleed in relation to gestational sac
- Normal cardiac activity is seen in the embryo. Heart rate calculated is 97 beats/minute.

Other things look OK like Mean sac diameter is 14.5 mm, yolk sac is 5.8 mm and fetal pole are well visualized.
I am advised with Susten injection and Duphaston tablet and rest.

Is the situation OK or there is anything to worry about?

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The foetal parameters according to the report suggest normal. Like foetal pole, yolk sac appears normal.
2.The pathology in the report is sub-chorionic bleed - which is not seen normally.
3.The sub-chorionic bleed needs to be monitored by follow-up scans.
4.The medication given is for the better placental / chorionic implantation.
5.Cardiac activity is lower side with in limits - over all in your case it needs followup scan in two weeks time.

Good luck.
Hope i have answered your query,
any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask.
