Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does The Following Spine MRI Report Indicate?
I recently had an MRI of my spine from my head down & my doctor says I need surgery on adisc in my neck even tho he says I have a bone degenerative disease. I am NOT good with surgeries as I also have a very progressed case of Neurocardiogenic Syncope. Afraid this new doctor may not be aware of how I react to surgery & want to live (hopefully without pain) or risking my life. Can anyone help me?
If the mri showed that there is disc bulge in your neck that may lead to compression on nerve roots or pressure on the spinal cord which may lead to diffeciency in blood supply of the brain، and leads to syncope si dont be afraid because in the operation they will remove the compression and the condition willl resolve spontanevously
