What Does The Following Scan Result Indicate?

what is meant by non obstructing right upper and right midpole calculus. Right upper pole stone measures 5.6 X 5.8 mm. Right mid pole stone measures 3.4 X 3.8 mm. This is from my CT scan results in the emergency at the time when I was passing a stone (5 X 5 mm).

Welcome to Health care magic.

1. The report indicates that there are multiple calculus ( kidney stones) in the right kidney upper pole and mid pole.
2.The upper pole one measuring 56x58mm, mid pole measuring 34x38mm.
3.Both of these stones are there in the kidney calyx, but they are non obstructive ( not causing obstruction / or not coming on the way)
4.But since they are there and you have recently passed the calculus - possibility of next callus passing will be there - so you have to get the needful thing done - getting to break, or medications to melt and as a remedy plenty of water.
5.It definitely needs attention, consult nephrologist for further evaluation, complications are renal parenchyma thinning / failures so treat it. Good luck.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
