What Does The Following Lumbar Spine MRI Report Indicate?

Hi, I had an MRI on my Lumbar Spine w/o contrast. Part of the findings are: heterogeneous bone marrow signal likely related to red marrow reconversion. Diskogenic bone marrow signal changes at the inferior endplate of endplates of L4,L5 and S1. What does all of this mean? Thanks for your help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Report indicates that your marrow is not working properly, converting fat cells against red cells. I would like to focus further if you provide the details of symptoms which are very vital to co-relate the condition.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
