Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. Just got the result of my son, who is 2 years & 3 months old, fecalysis result: macroscopic examination: color greenish brown, consistency soft; microscopic examination: WBC 2-5 /HP, RBC 2-5 /HPF; Parasite of Ova: No intestinal parasite seen; Others: yeast cell few. Thank you
The test result shows no presence of parasites and the rest of the examination is normal as well. Presence of yeast as few cells is also normal as yeast normally lives in the bowel. So to conclude there is no abnormality noticed in the stool test that your son has done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
