Hi recently had my biospy from leaver the reports show strips of tissue with normal appearing liver tissue and a strip of fibrocollagenous tissue infiltrated by atypical cells with scantily cytoplasm, pleomorphic hyperchromatic nuclei, arranged kingly small cluster and vague cords illdefined trabecular. Also seen are skeletal muscle bundles and drag ments of adipose tissue ALPAS: Negative Diagnosis: METASTATIC POORLY DIFFERENTIATED CARCINOMATOUS DEPOSITS
You have metastatic liver cancer. Primary tumor location has to be searched for, and a CT scan can be helpful for that. According to cause specific management plan decided. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy prescribed as per need. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) study also helpful in rule out primary diagnostic cancer.
