What Does The Following X-ray Report Suggest?

Hi doctor, good evening. .im sheila presently working here in qatar. .i would to ask about 7mm ovoid calcific density in the right mid lungfield. And then the radiologist impression that the " right mid lung density might be a granuloma formulation and/or old focus of infection.
Is there any medication in these?
Is this serious/fatal infection? That can decrease immune system?
please let us know what are healthy foods that will eat to lower the ovoid calcific density. Please advise. Thank youu

I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

As per your X-ray report, you are having a small calcified(Calcium deposited mass) in your lung.
You don't need to worry because it is generally a benign(non cancerous) lesion and does not indicates an active disease focus.
It generally indicates an old infection like tuberculosis or some kind of fungal infections.
As of now, no treatment is necessary. All you can do is to take a repeat X-ray after few months to look for any recent change in its size.
It is not at all a serious condition and does not affect your immune system.
Diet has no direct relation with pulmonary calcification,how ever try to have a healthy diet which may improve your general health.
