What Does The Following MRI Test Result Indicate?

What is the subcortical bone marrow edema in the upper hemisphere of the left femoral head. The mri also said there is a relatively geographic demarcation of edematous from nonedematous portions of the femoral head, with some images suggesting a low signal intensity line which defines the boundary

1.The features in the report suggest the presence of the oedema in the bone marrow is seen.
2.Which has been identified with the signal intensity change in the MRI study.
3.This features are seen in case of the degenerative changes, systemic causes and traumatic conditions.
4.Presence of any bone lesion like tumor also need to be ruled out with comparative study of the x-ray.
5.A contrast to see its enhancement features to differentiate infection / inflammation and lesion.
