What Does The Following MRI Report Suggest?

I had an MRI of my cervical spine and was told nothing was wrong then I got the written report and it doesn t sound like nothing is wrong. It says I have mild disc desiccation in the cervical spine with mild disc height loss at C4-C5, C5-C6 and C6-C7. It also says I have prominent central canal at level C3, mucosal membrane thickening in the paranasal sinuses, in the upper thoracic spine at T2-T3 there is a small central disc protrusion. Please tell me what all this means?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There is mild disc bulging and nerve compression is there.

It is probably due to age-related changes and does not indicates any significant problems.

As of now, no definite treatment is required either.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
