What Does The Following MRI Report Indicate?

age 55 height 5 9 weight 147 MRI report: . There is fairly extensive internal degeneration involving the medial meniscus. Seen only on the sagittal projection there is the suggestion that the signal in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus focally extends to the superior surface suggesting a small meniscal tear. 2. There is some degenerative changes at the patellofemoral compartment and medial compartment. 3. Small joint effusion.

I can understand your situation and problem.
Honestly speaking, your MRI report of knee joint is very bad.
It suggests damage of all parts.
Meniscus is injured, patella and femur are also damaged.
And above all, there is joint effusion.
Joint effusion suggest ongoing damage. It also suggest possibility of infection.
So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done arthroscopic management.
