What Does The Following HBV Test Result Indicate?
Doc im 34 years of age..last december 2014 when ive discovered that im infected of hbv based on tje lab test hbv viral load results 6000copies/ml, after 2 mnths treatment my lab test became less than 20 copies, the same result after 4th month, 6th mnth then my doctor upgraded my med then on my 9th mnth my lab test is still the same.. Mu sgot/sgpt are normal,anti hbs is non reactive, anti hbe is reactive...how can you evaluate my result and the presence of hbv will possibly undetectable or let say curable?

Hepatitis B serologic testing involves measurement of several hepatitis B
virus (HBV)-specifi c antigens and antibodies. Different serologic “markers”
or combinations of markers are used to identify different phases of HBV
infection and to determine whether a patient has acute or chronic HBV
infection, is immune to HBV as a result of prior infection or vaccination, or
is susceptible to infection.
HEPATITIS B SURFACE ANTIBODY, QUANTITATIVE
Unvaccinated: Vaccinated: > or =12.0 mIU/mL
