What Does The Following Doppler Scan Report Suggest?
My wife is around 16 weeks pregnant. Recent doppler obstetrics showed - umbilical artery shows reduced diastolic flow. No evidence of flow reversal is seen at present. S/D ratio is 3.85 For uterine artery RT S/D ratio is - 2.44 and LT S/D ratio is 3.5 My wife is already on Lonopin 40mg daily, ecospirin 75mg due to some parameters like protein-C, prothrombic activity etc. Yesterday doctor has put her on alivher, argihope, zilargin sachet daily. She is advised to lie maximum on left side. Plenty of fluids. Lumia 60k twice in a week. Please suggest if all these medicines are safe and also if anything else is required. What are the chances that we make atleast 8 months of pregancy?

You have to do strict follow up scan as advised by your gynaecologist. Continue the drugs prescribed and in case of reversed flow we may go for termination.
