General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your CT scan report suggestive of spondylosis (wear and tear process of vertebra with stenosis) of cervical spine and spondylitis of thoracic spine (inflammation). It causes nerve compression and cause pain.

I would suggest to consult the spine surgeon and take proper treatment. Treatment will depend on the severity of symptoms.

To relieve pain take following advises:

- Bed rest, tablet diclofenac + seritopeptidase

- Muscle relaxant like tizanidine, you can also apply analgesic ointment like volini

Once pain goes off, do back strengthening and stretching exercises as advised by a physiotherapist. You can follow this advises for 6 to 8 weeks. If symptoms persists then surgery is the final option.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best regards,
Dr. Sagar
